Milind Bhandarkar received the M.Sc.(tech) degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India in 1989, and a M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India in 1991. He worked as Member Technical Staff in Center of Development of Advanced Computing, Pune, India from 1991 to 1993.
