ISCOPE 1999 Trip to San Francisco, CA
December 8-11, 1999
Sameer Paranjpye and I flew down to 'frisco the week
before finals to go to ISCOPE, a tiny parallel object language
conference sponsored by the DOE for work.
We stayed at the Crowne Plaza at Union Square on Sutter
street, but hung out with Sameer's friend Arnab Bhattacharjee
(arnab@inktomi.com) most nights.
We drove around the bay area a good bit on Friday night--
I saw the famous Apple HQ [photos 09-14], HP, etc.
Early in the morning [photos 15-18] before our flight out
(with an incredible hangover) we drove up to see the
Golden Gate Bridge [photos 20-24]. Quite cool.
Photos 25 and 26 are the view from our room on the 14th floor.
