class touring the NCSA machine room.
The tour leader was Beth Richardson.
The 1,548 processor Origin array consists of nine
128-processor machines, a 256-processor machine, a
64-processor machine, and a 56-processor machine.
All are housed in the machine room. The total
scratch disk space is about 4 TB; the total RAM
is about 600 GB.
