The University of Illinois Parallel Programming Lab went to
Supercomputing 2002 (sc2002) en masse. The conference was
held in Baltimore, Maryland; a reasonably pretty, if a bit
seedy, coastal city. Gengbin Zheng, Chee Wai Lee, Chao Huang
and myself drove down from Illinois on Saturday, November 16,
2002, braving foggy and rainy conditions, crazy truckers, and
terrible signage along the Pennsylvania section of I-70.
Gengbin and Chee Wai and I drove back Friday, November 22,
which was a much less stressful trip.

At the conference, our NAMD paper won the Gordon Bell prize,
and our paper on the "Faucets" project won best poster.
