Hoover Dam, March 17 2000
For my spring break Layla and I decided to check out Las Vegas
together instead of just flying to one of our home towns.
Since Harmony (Layla's sister, going to school in Pullman, WA)
was on spring break the same week, she came with us as well.
On the last day of our trip, burned out from the continual
glitz of Las Vegas, we rented a sleek black convertible
and drove out to the Hoover dam.
Harmony ran into 3 of her friends from college who were
driving back from Arizona, and also stopped at the dam.
19-30 are a small overlook we passed along the way.
36-44 are on the official tour-- the generator room looks
like the stage for the final confrontation in a James Bond
flick. The generators are about 3 stories high!
There are many stereo pairs here, if you're into that sort
of thing.
