Four Years at IIT Kanpur
When I entered IIT Kanpur, the first building I went into was Hall II. I was given a small piece of paper and sent to Hall III. I told my aunt and uncle to wait and went into the office. I was told to go into the smaller computer room where the registration was being done. The door wouldnt budge open and so I pushed hard and it opened with a huge thud. All inside activity stopped and all eyes were set on me. Then I met my first senior, Rishi Shrivastava who would later become one of my most helpful senior and friend. My roommates were Rishabh Halakhandi and Ashish Kar. Then I was told that I had to shift because another person needed the "attached-toilet" room I was occupying. Rishi asked that Ashish be shifted and so I finally became roommates with Rishabh and Gaurav Ojha. So my first year wing was comprised of:
