Fang recieved her B.S. in Urban and Environmental Science from Peking University, China, 1997. She is a master student in the Department of Computer Science after transferring from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, UIUC, where her major was geographic information systems. She worked as a teaching assistant and research assistant during the past two years. Fang was a recipient of the University Fellowship and the DURP Fellowship, UIUC, 1997-1998.

Research Interests:

She is being "force fed" parallel programming this summer under the direction of Professor Laxmikant V. Kale. Her another major responsibility is web design for PPL.
