Research on Petascale Applications

For IACAT, it is critical that a few codes are selected that have the potential to attain petascale in the near term, can showcase novel applications to real systems in high-profile areas at sustained petascale performance, will address developments in collaboration with CS components that are needed regardless of the applications so future codes can utilize these developments, and whose successful operation at petascale will enable new funding.
