Known bugs

• Using Opera browser when you reload the page the CSS stylesheet might not picked up. Place the cursor in the address line and press ENTER to reload the page correctly.
• The guestbook email notification's page address might not work if the album is not on the page root or the folder names contain spaces or underscores.
• When using folder thumbnails from a folder where you added files one-by-one (=virtual files) (not adding the whole folder at once =real) the folder thumbnail might not appear correctly at the upper directory levels.
• If you generate your album directly into the source folder (possible but not recommended) the guestbook folder will appear in the album incorretly. Add the 'guestbook' word to Settings / Advanced / General / Ignore pattern, or better not generate the album into the image's folder.
• If you have problems with DigiBug printing service, find C:/Program FIles/JAlbum/includes/printing.inc file, open with Notepad and in the following lines (102, 103)

  change $copmanyId to ${companyId} and $eventId to ${eventId} . Make sure you have a valid companyId and eventId entered in the corresponding box on the Settings / Chameleon / General tab.
• Erasing album's Title in Edit / Properties cause JAlbum to use an empty string instead of the folder name (which is default if no album name was given). Locate meta.properties file in the source folder, remove "title=" line with a simple text editor, like Notepad and save. (JAlbum bug)
• The Watermark effect ignores the user selected color and always uses white. (JAlbum bug)
• The ColorMap filter problem on Macs has been solved with version 4.0!
• After opening a project the "enabled/disabled" state of some controls remain unchanged — some of them remain disabled (not editable) even though the corresponding checkbox (which would normally enable them) receives the correct value. In this case you need to enable/disable again the checkbox (or select again from the dropdown list) to make those fields editable again. (Chameleon bug)
• Some labels on the User Interface on Mac OSX get truncated (with no reason). In this case you can use the help files to see what's there. (Mac OSX bug)
• When using virtual folders there's no phisically existing source folder. Its not a bug, rather its the new way JAlbum works. This is why you need to place the enhanced image (using "this" option) into the project's folder when using virtual folders. You can open this folder by Tools / Open Directories / Image directory.
• Using JAlbum for a longer time and running multiple Album makes subsequentially can cause the User interface to reset to the first available skin. Use the classic "windows" workaround: close JAlbum and reopen.
• Sometimes when changing skins (e.g. BluePlusPlus) the custom user variables may interfere with each other and for example prevents Chameleon to use the correct gallery name, and also sometimes makes JAlbum itself unstable. Use the "Tools / Clear User Defined Variables" tool or just restart the program to avoid these problems.
• JAlbum sometimes will not process WAV, MP3, WMA, etc. files after changed to BluePlusPlus skin and returned to Chameleon because BPP puts their extensions on the ignore list. Please go to Advanced tab and clear the "Ignore pattern" box: "(bpp\-generated)|((\.|_).*|.*\.(wav|mp3|wma|voc|mid|au|rm))"
